Since last week, none of my texts have been delivered to Newfoundland numbers and no indication of delivery failure. I checked all APN settings and they are fine. I can send MMS messages no problem. My wife also signed up for Fizz and she has had problem sending messages to 613 numbers.

Are you using the latest OS of your cell phone ? If not, update.
Try to reboot your cell phone (hard reset).
Try by desactivate iMessages (it worked for me).
Several users had issues with sending sms to maritimes recently.
You may want to contact Fizz to have your issue resolved
Get in touch with Fizz Support and let them know that you too have problems with certain areas... They may put more priority on fixing the problem
I'm having the same issue. Text messages sent to 709 area code are not received. As well I cannot receive incoming group SMS messages. Tried the apn setup again and still not working.
