Unfortunately Fizz had to disable the search contact option for now, likely to investigate this problem: https://community.fizz.ca/questions/2544662-fizz-members-targeted-text-message-phishing
We'll have to wait for Fizz to reactivate it.
Meanwhile you can still gift data from your plan to other Fizz members.
Go to My Plans → Click gift from the account → Start Gifting -> Gift to a new fried
Enter the phone number or email This will open the gifting tool, it is preferable to use the phone number

I'm also waiting for that feature to be reactivated...
Fizz disabled this function. You can still gift data by using their phone number or referral code
It was disabled for security reasons
It's been deactivated for a while now, can't wait to get it back.

Unfortunately this option is not available for the moment and we dont know when Fizz will reactivate it.
