How do I keep my number?

My account was recently de-activated due to payment. I would like to re-activate it and keep my phone number. I have updated my payment method and can make a p[ayment now, but the "reactivate" account button gives me no option to keep my current number. How can I reactivate my account without losing my number?

If you are lucky and your number was not already given to a new customer . It could still be available. Try to contact CSR as Philip said or try to order a new line using tne number you want it could work if the number is still available.

The reactivate option is when you unsubscribe

If your payment failed for a day or two when you make the payment your plan will be reactivated

In case of problem, you can contact Fizz support by chat

1- Log in to your account (see top right).
2- Any ad blocker in your browser must be disabled.
3- You must be on a help sheet: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-fix-payment-issue
4- The green bubble should appear in bottom right of the page

Please reach out to support. As a rule of thumb they block numbers for two months following the cancellation of an account. Support might be able to help you

Dont worry, you have not unsubscribed to this plan.
Have you associated the new credit card in your Fizz account for your Fizz plan?
Log to your Fizz acccount.
Then, click on: My plan - Manage my plan - Payment method - Manage/Payment method
and associate the new credit card to your Fizz plan.
After doing it, click on: My profil - payment method - cancel the old credit card.
Return to the section: My plan: Manage my plan - Payment method
Click on: Do a manual payment now
After a delay of 2 hours, your Fizz plan will be reactivated.
If you still need help, contact the Fizz customer service by chat.
Log to your Fizz account.

Click on the green interrogation point down to the right of the page and click on the green chat bubble.

Your number cannot be reused for another client right away, they have to hold it for 60 days. Contact customer support to see what they can do for you.
