Unanswered question

Can the internet modem be moved to out of province for a trip? I.e. Ontario to Nova Scotia

Going on a trip to Nova Scotia in a few months and want to bring my Fizz Internet with me ( I am in Ontario). Can I do this? Or would I get charged roaming???

I guess the best solution would be to get a 20gb monthly canada sim for 75 bucks a month and setup a hot spot in my room?

Yes only for the mobile activate the 20Go, 2 months in advance and you will get a good rollover, remember you cannot use for more the 3 consécutif months

@Mathieu, your slow answer is not good :( Did you read the second post of Dog?

Hi Dog,

No you cannot move your home internet modem elsewhere.
It will not work outside of the Fizz/Videotron service area (which is Quebec and part of Ottawa).

Yes if you are temporarily travelling, subscribing to Fizz mobile plan is an excellent option.
Have a good trip!
