Why is my internet speed slower than it's supposed to be?

A technician just came to setup the internet, he left without testing the speed, my plan is for 30 mbs and right now I only get 15, is there a way to fix that without having to appoint a technician?

    Did you try to connect your PC directly with the network cable?
    You can also try with the APP
    If you try with the WIfi for you computer can be a problem with the wifi
    Finally, the technician is supposed to test the signal with is an instrument and not with the modem

    •Wait 5 seconds for the bubble icon to appear at the bottom right of the browser and click on the icon to chat with support. If you happen to have issues with that, I recommend you try using another browser (E.g. Google, etc)

    Have you tested the speed test with an ethernet cable?
    Test with wi-fi is supposed to be lower.
    Please, verify with the Fizz support if you dont get the good speed.
    Chat is available from 8h00 to 21h00 each day.
    First, connect to your Fizz account.
    Then types this adress:
    https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us
    Wait to see the green chat bubble down to the right of the page.
    When you see it, click on it.
    Your chat session with Fizz begins.
