not recoqnizing sim card what should i do?

i just ordered a fizz sim card to switch over...but it does not recognzie the card...it says my number is active on website..but i cannot make calls or use internet

    Do you have a message on the display?

     

    Is it your phone compatible with the fizz network? If your phone is for the Canadian market and the model newer than 2015 should be compatible

    Mine are only speculation, since I do not know your situation, but they are possible problemes

     

     

    Do you have the possibility  to test the sim in an other phone?

    there is no message all it says on my phone is no sim card.. i can use my phone wifi and that is it,..i tried another sim card from my wifes provider and it works fine...its says no sim card emergency calls only

    @Daniel contact the support, you already inserted an other SIM card, therefore, you know how to do it :D,
    then it seems that your card is defected

    Take it out and try again. Sometimes in the sim card tray is not pushed all the way in then it does not detect the card. Also ensure you are using the right size card and that it is turned the right way. Those two should be obvious but just making sure.
