Bought two roaming data packages, but only one works?

Hi everyone 
I first bought roaming for zone Europe, used it and it worked well. About a month in, I had a trip to Latin America coming up so I bought data for that zone as well. As soon as I did that my roaming stopped working in Europe (and worked well once I got to Latin America).
I would like to know what to do. Is it that previous packages will disappear when new zones are bought? Or was this a glitch?
