Can't send texts while on Fizz Ext

I'm traveling and am currently on Fizz EXT. Some texts are coming in hours later. I am able to browse the Internet, can initiate calls but am unable to send texts. I refreshed my APN settings through my profile but it still does not work. Any ideas?

Where are you traveling? What is your coverage area? Are you within your coverage area or did you have to buy travel add-on(s)?

- Text messages (SMS) sent by certain companies, such as Microsoft and Google to name a few, are not received.

- Certain devices connected to a Wi-Fi network are not able to send or receive multimedia messages (MMS). 

- Some services do not work optimally when roaming internationally (outside the U.S.A., varies according to the destination).

 

If problem persists, you may need to escalate your request to Fizz customer service.

Hi,
First, depending on how old your phone is, Fizz EXT might have trouble with it. I witnessed people having trouble sending texts or receiving voicemail on FIZZ EXT (although not while travelling).
If maybe that's not the case for you, try rebooting your phone. It's worth trying if you didn't do it yet.
If not, I would consider contacting Fizz themselves to signal this issue on the online chat. Maybe an issue regarding Fizz EXT and the traveling part needs adressing.
