How do you get points for giving kudos?

I am confused about the 1 point for giving someone kudos. Can someone explain how it works cause points do not seem to update when you click the heart emoji on someone's post. Is it only for the person that asked the question?

I think everytime you give a Kudos, it will count at the end of the day and add it to your points, not sure though. As long as the heart is green, it means you've sent the kudos.10

@everyone so the correct answer is your allowed to give 20 kudos per day so 20 points maximum7
