If those suggestions don't work most major internet providers provide their own speedtest. I've used Bell, Telus and Rogers all in the past.

Just type "speed test" into google and you will see a blue button that says "RUN SPEED TEST". Just click it and Google will tell you your download and upload speeds.

In order to get the best results, you will need to be hardwired to the modem and run the test with no other devices connected(disable the wifi on the modem).

Close all running programs and run the speed test from your preferred browser.

Most accurate web site is speedtest.net, powered by Oookla, but make sure you select a test server that has lots of ressources (Bell, Telus, Rogers, Techsavy, FibreNoir, ect..).

Hope it helps!
