Why am I not receiving texts from Simplii Financial and Google Pay?

I am unable to receive verification codes via SMS from Simplii Financial and Google Pay. How can I or Fizz resolve this?

Fizz can not receive short code sms from many institutions. This is a known issue. They're working on it but we don't know when it will be resolved.

I contacted them telling them about issues with TD bank and they fixed it after a few days.4 -

I use PC financial (simplii) too. Wish they fix it soon. I'm going to change my other line from Videotron to Fizz after.1

We understand that some Fizz members are reporting an issue; they are not receiving text messages (SMS) from certain companies such as Interac, Facebook and Amazon to name a few.
The staff at Fizz is working around the clock in order to fix the situation. The service should be fully functional in the coming weeks. Most companies offer an alternate mode of communication. We recommend you choose one for now, and we will inform you when things are up and running.
