Level 3 (Free Voicemail)

Just an idea at what you will get at level 3. As soon as I applied the upgrade a message popped up on top stating that the free voicemail will be applied at the start of my next billing cycle.

 

I want to clarify a few things, the upgrade is permanent and it stays for 2 years as stated on the fizz website, it's not just for 1 month and you don't need to change your plan or unsubscribe from voicemail for it to be applied because you risk losing your price.

 

 

Note: Regarding their rewards policy Fizz states that the rewards offered and the number of bonuses awarded may change at any time without notice. So awards may change later on and can be different from what they are now.

 

Yes, If you already have voicemail which I assume most people do, they simply won't charge you for it, you get it for free, so you won't be charged for voicemail. A user on reddit who has been with Fizz for a couple months now has confirmed this and said that it's permanent as Fizz states in their solution hub that upgrades are valid for 2 years from the day you apply it to your plan.

So is Level 3 VM upgrade PERMANENT (as long as u r with Fizz) or only for 24 months after activation of upgrade? Thanks in advance!

Fizz states that the bonus is valid for 2 years (24 months) after they were obtained, so you are right it's technically not permanent.

 

You have to realise that rewards can change without notice as fizz mentions in their policy, for example as of now the free voicemail upgrade is available at level 3 but is it guaranteed to stay that way or will it be replaced with a different upgrade or pushed to a different level? Lots of questions to be answered..

M.H. do you have voicemail on your plan right now? I wonder if the reward is different depending what plan you have. i.e., for people with no voicemail on their plan, do they get something else?

Also, when is your next billing cycle. It would be great if you can confirm if they reduce your bill by the amount of what voicemail would be.

Because I also read on Reddit someone saying the opposite. That it’s only for those who don’t have voimail. He said CS told him that.

 

 

To answer the question:

  • All upgrades are applied at start of next billing cycle and valid for 24 months.
  • For voicemail, in my experience, you are still charged for it, so you have to chat / Facebook messenger customer service and they will open a ticket to refund the charge.

However, this month, Fizz said it should be fixed for good. However, that has yet to be validated.
