PSA: Porting number from Rogers Share Everything plan

When porting your numbers from a Rogers Share Everything plan make sure you port over your secondary lines and that the process has been completed successfully BEFORE porting over the main line. If you start with your main line all your second lines will be cancelled and your numbers will be lost!

According to ROGERS:

There is nothing to worry about. If your number is currently the main line on the account, we simply need to switch that title over to your second line and make this second line become the main number. Once that is done, you can safely port out your number.

I would assume that this would apply for any family plan from most carriers as well.
