Hello!
Since there have been changes, here are the updated list of prices by component of mobile plans.
Please note: Existing customers are not affected until you change your plan!

It can be practical to know how much each component of the package costs, without having to play in the packages page which only gives the overall price according to the options chosen.
Note, only the “Cellular data” component has been modified.

I do wish they would directly inform us, even if our personal plan doesn’t change.
Fizz prides itself with flexibility. I am usually changing my mobile plan (not an old one) monthly, depending on how much rollover data I have and (in the past) when I travelled to the US. I can’t do this anymore. 3 GB was usually my go to data allotment.
But for me it’s simple - as long as they are cheaper than the other companies (a gap that is closing - especially with the new internet rates which are not that competitive) I stick with them. Once they start to cost the same, I always have the option to switch.
Especially during Black Friday you could get plans with other companies which compared to the same plans at fizz were the same price...

Personally I am really sad to see the US coverage price going up... I know its not too much but Fizz right now has the best offer on the market and they don t promote it at all !

Fizz price is no longer competitive, fortunately I (and many of us here) have grandfathered trial plans.
I switched to Fizz a few weeks before the price increase so I won't be affected but this does sting a bit. I would have preferred if they emailed customers to notify them as well for a heads up to people who don't browse the forums very often like me.
