Answered question

Do you personal need 5G mobile and if yes, for what ?

Hi friends,

I saw a lot of commercial about 5G network, happy people watching their download phone speed...
I was looking at my personal lifestyle needs and I decided that what do I have now it s enough.

LTE+ works more than enough for mobile browsing, chat, youtube and emails. Would be awesome to extend LTE+coverage and more sites downtown.

I would love to have 5G only for one reason: a mobile internet connection at home like 1Giga download unlimited vs the actual coaxial cable. It happen so many times to have issues with my old internet provider at home because of some cable issues ....

Now guys for what do you need 5G personal ?
Cheers,

Hi there

I don't need it today, but the possibilities are endless. High speed for everyone.

Just to name a few: Smarter homes connected online 24/7, Self driving cars.

No need for home internet and mobile data. Just one portable plan to take with you wherever you need it.

BTW I like your almost weekly name changes!

On my phone? Exactly for nothing. Even 3G is still plenty fast for most people. I never understood the whole excitement around it. What do you do on your phone to warrant those speeds?
At home the story is different. 1Gb of Download can make a lot of difference eg Smarthomes

Fizzy we are a free country and we can have fun with higher speeds I know.
I was asking personal for what do you need ....self driving cars interconnected this are stories

What did I do? =(

Hi StefanM,

Agree with you Sir.
5G and internet of things are just stories to make us even more lazy and comfortable...adding more kg...i don't really need a spy in my house 24/7 to listen to my personal discussion with my wife... and I am still able to move to turn on the light and check if I have mustard in my fridge.
When I will depend of an application to remind me to think and breath I will be done.

Cheers.

And why would you think I want you to leave? =(

5G can bring a lot of benefits. It will definitely be part of our future.
It will improve latency, online gaming, etc.

Right Fizzy,

Agree with you. For games latency and interconnection speed is really important. Probably my kids will benefit of it. This really makes sense. It helps online gamers.

Personally I don't see myself willing to pay extra for 5G as I'm pretty happy with LTE speed. My son ,on the other hand, is pretty excited about the hole thing.
