Also make sure to turn off both phones before removing/inserting the SIM card.

For your new iPhone, you will need to make sure the iOS (and carrier settings) are up-to-date.

Just put in your simcard in your new phone

There's nothing special to do. You simply open your phone card slot (you have to use a small pin to push the card out), than you insert it in your new phone.

The new phone should recognize the card and be ready to use.

Take a sim eject tool and pop out the sim from the old phone and then put it in the new phone. The phones can be on, but if any issues sometimes quick reboot will help.

Just take the sims card and put it in your new phone

I'm not a tecnik guy and sometimes I think I have 2 left hands.
First turn off the devices.
Its not so easy to open the sim location if you dont have that "special tool". All the time I do this also I clean the sim ( from dust..).
After transfer SIM, enjoy your new phone !
