Why is it so difficult to get help with this company?

I also kindly wish to tell you that I checked your account and saw that no referral bonus was added upon the first subscription of the account. A referral code can only be added during the very first subscription on a Fizz account, whether it's a mobile or internet one, as you can also see here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-kind-of-rewards-do-i-earn-for...

In order to change a plan, you can follow the instructions already provided by our members, however it will be needed first for the plan payments to pass, then the adjust plan option will appear in My Plans - Manage Plan. Any plan change is effective at the beginning of the next payment cycle.

To change your Mobile plan or your ubternet plan.
You must do it yourself online to the Fizz web site.
First, log to your Fizz account.
Click on: My plans
Click on: My plan (Mobile)
Click on: Adjust plan
Do the changes and click on: Save
For the internet plan:
Click on: My plan (internet)
Click on: Adjust plan
Do your change and saved it after.
If you need help from Fizz customer service by chat.
First, desactivate the ad blocker on your browser.
Click on the green interrogation point down to the right of the page.
And click on the green chat bubble of Fizz.
A new chat window will open and you'll have a session with them.

I found them to answer relatively promptly on Facebook. Obviously they save on admin costs by reducing support staff which allows them to offer lower rates. It's a a fair bargain.

Note that when you change your plan you will pay the current price. If you have a better plan with grandfathered pricing, you can lose it and you cannot get it back at the old price.

Regarding your referral credit, you can confirm the status here:
Check under your reference or contact support
1- Access My profile in your Fizz account.
2- Select Referral Bonuses.

The credit will only apply to your main plan.

You have many options for changing your accounts in your "My plans" section. I l personally was always able to get someone to help through the chat. Good luck!
