Does Fizz have problem with the privacy of our phone numbers ?

I changed for Fizz last week, and I received multiple spam calls since then. Much more than I have in the past.
Only today, 7 spam calls since 10am !

Did you transfer your number or you pick a new one?

If you pick a new one from fizz this can be a problem since , like other providers, you will get a phone number that was in service couples of month before

Personally I do not have problems with thé io s kind of calls

Nowadays make automatic calls is almost free therefore it is very easy to call all the numbers

I am sorry you are experiencing so many spam calls.
I never had any myself, I had transferred my old number to Fizz. Did you or is it a new one ?

I transferred my phone number from my previous mobile provider. Never had that many spam before.

And as I understand that one solution could be to choose a new number, we know that nowadays it is far from the best one for the consumer, with a lot of time to spend changing numbers everywhere.

If Fizz has problems with data protection, I don't think the consumer should be the first one to have to find the solution. Or at least I wish it would be publicly mentioned before we choose to transfer.

Are the spam calls from the same number or multiple numbers? Perhaps you can block these calls on your phone settings.

Btw I know from personal experience that if you transferred from Bell (or any of their subsidiaries), Bell will keep trying to call you in an attempt to win you back (or annoy you, I'm not sure that they realize it).

It's a problem lately not sure if it's related to Fizz as i heard other people on other network having the same issue

I'm sorry for you.
I have swithched to Fizz mobile from an another provider, 2 years ago and i've never experiencing spam calls.
Changing of telephone number seems to be the best way to get rid of what you are experiencing at this moment.
