Signing up issue with coverage area

I am a fizz member looking to sign up a friend. The area where they live is clearly in the fizz cover area (very close proximity to me), but when they go to sign up fizz tells them that they are not in an eligible area. What is going on?

Does your friend live near the area of Ottawa?
Sorry,
If your friend is not living in the green suscription area of Fizz, he will not be able to suscribe to Fizz.

Monica, does your friend live in an urban area or country? Can he presently have access to Vidéotron? I've heard of customers having neighbors that have access but they don't do too proximity with the exterior cable line. It can also be that his address is not in the system. Contact Fizz directly to clarify the situation by either the green chat bubble or Facebook Messenger.

Hi Monica. He should be but maybe the address is different (or not) registered. Contact Fizz by one buble chat or facebook.
