How to receive go from another Fizz member ?

My dad is trying to send me additional go. I bought an add-on of 500 MB because my plan doesn’t include any but Fizz keeps saying that my dad is unable to send some because my plan doesn’t include data, which is not the case anymore since I bought 500 MB of data ?

But you can't receive data unless you pay for data as part of your plan. I find that I just need to buy data for one month, I've never needed to pay for it again.4 -

Sorry you need to have a data plan in order to participate in data gifting. Buying a data add-on does not qualify. Remember you can change your plan each month, but you will pay the current plan price.
Btw if your dad still has his data perk, he will be able to gift that to you.5 -

To be able to receive gifted data , you need to have in your monthly Fizz plan data.
Buying an add-on of data is not valid to your monyhly plan.
Also, your dad can give you his perk.
It can be given to someone who has not data on her plan.2 -
