Can I use my TV cable as a coax cable for the modem?

In my home, I do not have any coax outlet to use the coax cable for the modem. I was wondering if I could use the TV cable since it's also a coax cable. The cable is Videotron, but it's been cut for a while, so there's no channels to watch. Can I use the TV cable as the coax cable for the modem, or do I need a technician to come into my house for additional support?

You need a technician to connect the cable outside, if the cable it is in a good condition you are ok, it is the same cable
