I think it will be satisfactory for your needs as you are in the Quebec area.5 -
It really depends on the area you are traveling to and the coverage that is available at that location. I've been to New Hampshire, Chicago, Vermont, New York and speeds were fast enough. It most places, you get LTE. Only in the rural parts of New Hamshire and Vermont did I drop down to HSPA.5

The answer is the same as in Canada. It all depends on where you are, type of signal and band, signal strength, cell tower capacity (over crowding), roaming partners throdeling, etc)
