I have 2 devices that do support the 5GHz band, but they only see the regular 2.4GHz one. Anyway around this?

Did you reboot the modem after the modification?

    Set the SSID too

Well it was enable since the initial booting, but I just rebooted it again and it did not change anything.
EDIT: Found the issue, I had to disable "Band Steering".
EDIT 2: The speed is the same, strange.

My phone was literally next to the router. Regardless of the option I use, I'm stuck at 54 Mpbs. Guess I'll try rebooting again.

I hit "Best Answer" by accident, doesn't seem to be a way to revert my action. Anyway, ATF was already disabled.

    I missed the bandsteering :(
Did you try to disable the ATF? Disable ATF in Wireless -> ATF -> 2.4G and 5G
