how do i take my existing number with fizz and transfer it to a new plan with public mobile?

i want to cancel one of my fizz plans and change over that number to a different provider. For that public mobile needs an account number or a code. how do i get that and how do they transfer my fizz number?

Check  on your profile
My Plan-> Manage Plan you can see an account id there

To transfer out of Fizz, everything is done through the new provider.
As per Mike and Jimmy, you will need either account# or EIMEI.
I personally had more success using account# when transferring in the past.

Just text a empty message to *#06#

Avraham,

Just activate your new sim card with this new provider, They will ask you for the transfert of your telephone number, maybe your account number to Fizz or your IMEI of your phone.
Dont cancel your plan with Fizz before your activation with the new provider to be sure to transfert your actual phone number.
