Answered question

Can you make/receive calls while abroad?

From what I read you can make calls only in Canada and the US (while buying a travel add-on for the US if you hadn't chosen US coverage in your plan) Is that correct?

What about receiving calls? My phone will become a useless brick while traveling to Europe next week or I can at least receive calls from Canadian/European numbers while being in Europe?

For now, it seems I can only buy data. Is there anything I can use or pay to have call services available in Europe?

Fizz say that about your question and they recommend to buy a SIM card in the country you go.
" If you are travelling, we recommend purchasing a local SIM card. This will give you access to better rates on data. Helpful tip: use messaging apps (whatsApp, Messenger...) to stay in touch on the road instead of calling and texting."
" Important : You will not be able to make calls while roaming outside your Canada or the United States.
Roaming calls (incoming or outgoing) will be available at a later time. We will update this FAQ when we have a firm date.
In the meantime, you will be able to use data, and send/receive texts when you travel outside your coverage zone. To make and receive calls, you can use messaging apps such as WhatsApp or Messenger."

No, but you may communicate via messenger!

Fizz doesn't have Roaming to talk over the phone.

However, You can add a Travel Add-On to be able to use your data outside of your coverage zone.

With the Add-On you can make internet call through Facetime, Skype, Messenger, Text-me, WhatsApp...

But, if you rely on phone to phone call, the best solution is to buy a SIM with a prepaid plan where you go.
