Answered question
It has been since friday that I've not had internet. I had got in touch with chat and they said that the lines were down and being fixed. I have ran all the trouble shooting at least 10 times these past few days. I know that Fizz uses videotron lines and I've seen wifi for videotron pop up from neighbors. Just wondering if there is anyone else that is having this problem in the area? The photo attached is how the modem has been since the storm last friday.

To contact the support you need to go to this page
https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us, Fizz push you to find your solution, therefore, you need to search in the solution hub to your solution and only after 10 seconds that you are in a solution page Fizz will give you the chat bubble.
If the chat bubble does not appear, this means that the number of sessions waiting for our answers surpasses our processing capacity. If that happens, send us a private message via Facebook Messenger or Twitter.
Your can also send a message via facebook messanger https://facebook.com/fizzca and click send a message (this is a bit slower)

Unplug your modem. Wait 1 minute and replug it.
If still no internet, you should describe your picture (modem status) to Fizz support.
There might be a problem with your modem and it is no longer workng.
It seems to have that dreaded red ring. On xbox devices, that ring is known as the red ring of death.
Julia, please report back here when you have resolution to this.
I had got in to contact with fizz support and they belive it is the modem after doing the troubleshooting once again and waiting for them on there side to see if there was a connection to the modem. I have an appointment with a technician to view and hopefully fix this matter as fast as possible. And yes Fizzy it seems that the modems have that telltale red ring of death.
Glad to hear that you are getting it looked at.
It could be that power fluctuation zapped the modem.
Hope that the technician will be able to help.
Update! the technician came with a brand new modem and everything is now working just have to set it up again. As you'll see with the photo no red ring so it may be an easy tell on if you have a broken modem for anyone in the future.
Thanks a lot for updating. Enjoy your internet!
Cool, good to know that a red ring lets you know of a problem.
