The performance of the GPS has a little bit more to do with your phone’s built-in GPS than with the service provider. For example, fizz provides the map data through a data download but it is actually your phone’s gps that determines your positioning on the map.
Since it’s the same phone in your case, it might have to do with IOS 13 and the latest gps software9 -
GPS in downtown Montreal can be a bit off because of the tall buildings.6

If you upgraded to iOS 13, that could explain a lot.
Your phone can be more laggy and your battery won't last as long.
Unfortunately this is the Apple business model.
If it's an option, consider restoring back to your previous iOS for now.

I don't know in Montreal but here in Quebec city it works very well in car or on foot.1
