Choose which data to gift?

Hi, I gifted data to few people in the community today but I wasn’t able to choose from which block of data to gift.

So I have a few gigs left this month which expires in 4 days, I have another block that expires in 34 days, and my last block has no date and I was only able to gift from my last block. Why is that?

You can gift only the paid data from your current month

Like stated above, only the paid data from your current month can be gifted.

Unfortunately it wouldn't be fair if you could gift older data that's about to expire in 4 days

and the recipient will get to keep it for at least 30 days
