Hi could you share your experience if home internet is really stable? I'd like to switch to fizz, but internet is crucial for me.

I've been using Fizz internet since Apr 2019.

  • Speed is constant as for my plan
  • 3 down times : 1 for about 1 hours, 1 for unkonwn elapse time - It occured during the nigth, I had to reboot router/modem in the morning, 1 when I was using it : I rebooted the modem and the internet came back.
  • One thing to consider if internet is crucial for you : Fizz billing system ; Fizz bills you the first day of your cycle , if something goes wrong (either your fault or Fizz bugs) your internet will be cut immediately .

As you know Fizz is part of Videotron family, Videotron's Internet infrastructure is very good, they also provide cable internet to other cable internet providers, like eBox, rest assured that fizz internet is solid and as reliable as it could be. They don't throttle the speed at peek hours also. the only week spot could be their WIFI Modem, which some subscribers complain, you can use it in bridge mode with your own router if you have one.
If you Decide to get Fizz Internet you can use my referral code 7UJV7
Hope this satisfy your question :)

Yes, it's extremely stable. Cable internet very rarely has any issues and the company behind Fizz is Videotron itself. Even during prime time there are no slowdowns.

I've been on Fizz Internet since May. I have the modem in bridge mode with my own wifi router.

So far no complaints, slowdowns or outages. I have the 60/10 plan and always hit that everytime I tested.

It’s as stable as coaxial internet can be. It therefore has a lot of limitations. Speeds will drop significantly during high trafic hours. The only way to avoid this issue would be by contacting a service provider that uses fiber optics. Among them I think the cheapest is virgin. But that is a personal choice.

the internet is quite stable. I haven't any problem since I signed up. I'm in Montreal east area. The speed is constant. Very happy so far with the internet service

I hear that Fizz Internet is very stable since it is Videotron's network, which is very reliable and stable.

Only complaint I've read on this community is the modem-router, that can overheat or have some delays / lags.
