https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices hasn't been entirely helpful. The device is a new model, sporting Android 9 and should work by the looks of things but the "Which frequencies must my phone support?" leaves me wondering since I can't find the info.
Here's the device's specs from the net;
"Radio Bands Supported
2G: GSM 2 /3 /5 /8
3G: WCDMA 1 /2 /4 /5 /6 /8 /19
4G: TDD-LTE 38 /40 /41
4G: FDD-LTE 1 /2 /3 /4 /5 /7 /8 /12 /13 /17 /18 /19 /20 /26 /28A /28B"
Thanks for the help!

    1. Which frequencies must my phone support?

For an LTE-compatible phone configured with LTE network preferences:

      • Calls: Your device must support HSPA 850 MHz or 1900 MHz frequencies

      • Mobile data: Your device must have dual-frequency support for 1700/2100 MHz (also called AWS or band IV)

Your phone can also support other frequencies that allow it to take advantage of the LTE network.

For a phone that only allows 3G or HSPA preferred:

      • Calls and / or mobile data: The phone must support the 1700/2100 MHz frequency (also called AWS)

    .
    So you need
    - for mobile data : band 4 ( which your phone has according to your info line 4G: FDD-LTE )
    - for call : HSPA 850 MHz or 1900 MHz frequencies which is either band 5 (your phone has according to your info line : 4G: FDD-LTE) or band 25
    (Ref : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands ).
    .
So yes your phone is compatible with Fizz
