Why cant I call or receive calls

I just activated my fizz sim card and now nothing works on my phone its been more than 12 hrs

Check that the SIM is well inserted in the tray, your phone was SIM locked? (Usually you are supposed to have different message, therefore I do not think that this is your problem.)
Check that your phone has the latest update?
Restart your phone

It says that i have no sim card

Ok so all that is done when i put the sim card in it says that its in. But when i try to txt it says no sim card
