Why cant I connect to 4g after coming back from travel ?

Used 4g regularly, then I traveled. After I came back, it only connects in 3G. I tried everything. Re-sent the messages with the configuration, restarted the phone, even did all this after reseting the phone to factory settings !
I still in the same area it used to connect to LTE/4G , so this has nothing to do with the device model (cause it connected fine before).
What else can I try besides :

  • resending config messages
  • resetting/ restarting the phone

BTW, I have another device, and it is finely connected to 4G. I already compared the settings, they seem the same to me.

what phone do you have? Iphone? Android? I'm not sure about iPhone, I'm android user. If you have an android phone, in the sim network setting if you see a setting called preferred network type, verify what is the preferred network type you have. It could be set to 3G only. If that's the case, change it to LTE only or GSM/WCDMA/LTE

A couple of things to try:

  • restart your phone
  • put phone in airplane mode, wait 20 seconds, then remove airplane mode
  • remove SIM and insert it again
  • Hope that helps!
