I have the Canada and USA plan. I'm presently in the USA and I cannot use Data or receive texts. The roaming function is on (iPhone 6s). Is this a common problem with Fizz?
Are your APN settings configured correctly?

Also check your provider selection setting -
iPhone: Settings → Operators → Automatic/Fizz

For now we have a problem sending SMS in Canada. :( Other users reported slow data when outside the coverage zone this week.
If you're outside the country for vacation, have you considered getting a SIM card in USA ?
I would get a US SIM card; much cheaper.
