Why can't I connect to the internet for days?

For the past two and a half days I haven't had internet despite the fizz status page saying my area is working fine. The only way to get internet is for me to unplug and replug my modem. However, this is only a temporary solution as it will only give me internet access for about 5 minutes and then the internet is gone again. I even did a factory reset of the modem but that didn't work either. I've tried pretty much everything mentioned on the solutions hub, I'm wondering if anyone else might have a possible solution? This is a real problem for me since I do need to connect to my office at nights to do work.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to contact the support, probably a router problem therefore you need to remplace it

To chat with the support, make sure that:

    • You're logged into your Fizz account.

    • You're active on a help page. https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us

    • You're within the business hours: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (EST), weekends and holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (EST).
    • You have disabled any ad blockers in your browser.

If the chat bubble does not appear, this means that the number of sessions waiting for our answers surpasses our processing capacity. If that happens, send us a private message via Facebook Messenger or Twitter.

    Hey David,
Sorry to read about your situation you're having with our modem. Did you download the Fizz wi-fi app and verify if there might be any issues that can be resolved directly from the App? If that doesn't work for you, as @Irene mentioned, please reach out to us so we can investigate and get you up and running again :)
