Answered question
And for those of you that were with Videotron, was it the same as Fizz?
You can use the data usage gauge on your phone for more reliable estimates.
Also you will not be charged any overage fees as this is prepaid service. Your data will stop once you have reached your usage limit.

I don't know if it's updated in real time but everytime I take a look it's updated, so it's certainly not once or twice a day. It's more often than that.
Videotron didn't update it in real time. I know this because I was charged $25 last year in last day of my billing cycle. It didn't show overcharge until 1 hour later.
Fizz will be 1 or 2 hours delay as well.
For me it's definitely once per day in the next day , and that's when the counter is actually working.I have no experience with Videotron unfortunately.
For me it seemed to update exactly at midnight every day.
As I said, it maybe not in real time but certainly more than once a day and maybe even more than once an hour.
Here's a screen capture after a few minutes of browsing.
I never actually bother checking as it's not accurate anyways.
