Fizz is prepaid so I doubt that will be happening, at least not any time soon.

I think it's easier to manage from a system point of view. Beside it's better to buy your phone from a store with your credit card, get points and other features

You can't really do this on a no contract/prepaid system, in order to subsidized the phones the carriers need to spread the payments over a long term and since with Fizz you can leave at any time they have no way to be able to offer devices at a reduced cost. None of the other prepaid competition offer phones that I have seen and doubt Fizz will bother, they should just focus on their network stability and getting things where they need to be to compete in the market.

Sure, reliable network first. Improvements would be lower priority.

@Bo, I'm sure you'll be able to use credit card for anything Fizz will be selling.

@Ryan, other carriers do sell prepaid phones. They are not top-of-line flagship phones. Some people need a phone just for calls and/or texting.
