Yes, its normal. As you switch towers while traveling, you will connect to what is available, LTE or 3G.

Depend on which agreement they have with the partner provider. Then yes is normal
Some providers display 4G instead of LTE but it is the same.
When you are using a third party, the 4G cannot be guaranteed.
Sometime even at home its change for LTE to 3G...
@VincentMG, you might be between 2 towers or it may depend on how busy the towers are.

Signal of 4G is to low so 3G take it.
