No mobile internet connection

I just started on my plan and the phone plan works but the internet does not connect

If you are on andriod you will need to update your APN settings manually for the internet data and MMS to work.

I installed the two config texts they send a few minutes after my account was activated but I also had to set the APN type to "MMS + Internet" or order for both of them to work.

If your APN settings are good, have you already tried rebooting your phone?

And turning airplane mode on and off?

 

Following the last outage on April 2, Fizz has limited some users/devices to only 3G data.

This may include you. Try changing your network mode to 3G only and see if your data works.
