Answered question
Hello Community,
Based on yesterday’s communication about our stabilization period, we wanted to clarify the information regarding your pricing after the stabilization period.
For members who will have subscribed BEFORE April 12, 2019.
Once the stabilization period is over, your plan will return to the launch (introductory price). Please note, however, that if you change your plan after the stabilization period, regular prices will apply. You will be notified of the end of the stabilization period one month in advance.
For members who subscribe ON, OR AFTER, April 12, 2019.
Once the stabilization period is over, regular prices will come into effect and will therefore apply to your plan. You’ll be happily surprised by these once the stabilization period has come to an end. You will be notified of the end of the stabilization period one month in advance.

We’re sorry for any confusion this may have caused,
Team Fizz

Thank you for better phrasing the sentence.
Cancelled the defcon alarm :D
So I understood correctly yesterday. The April 12 is the important date.
It would be better to give us, who already sign up intro price, one chance to change their plan. For me, I tried one month and know which plan is good for me. But now there is no chance to modify. :(
Thanks for the update!
The only point not clarified is the referral code which is suspended
Does this mean the regular prices will start on April 12 for any new member that join
@Takion: No, it means that if you subscribe after the 11/4 you have the stabilization period price, when the stabilization period is over, you will get the normal price
thank you for the clarification!
Hao, the wording seems to imply that if you signed up before April 12, you can still change plans during the stabilization period upto one month before the end of stabilization period, and you'll keep the intro price of the last plan you had. After the stabilization period, if you change plans it will switch to regular price.
Perhaps the Fizz team can clarify or tune in here and agree or not with what I'm saying. Thanks!
In other words, current subscribers and those who will have applied by April 12 have until the end of the stabilization period to change their plan and yet keep the introductory prices.
Thank you, now please open the referral program
Thank you, but why is it that the referral Code/Program is called off during the stabilisation period .....
I chatted with them and they told me that the referral program is suspended :(
Ed V, you'd be a good tech writer. You transformed what I was saying into half the lines. lol..
@Francesco De Luca
I hope you are right. However, it seems confusion to me. I thought that the changing-plan-member is the same like new-member for that period. If it is correct, then read the second phrase for new member. On this phrase, it is clearly saying "Once the stabilization period is over, regular prices will come into effect ...".
For the first phrase, it seems you are right, because Fizz says "if you change your plan after the stabilization period, regular prices will apply" - so it seems okay if we change the plan before the end of stabilization period.
@Fizz, can you clarify this?
Thanks for the update!
Everything it's nice and clear.Thanks for the update Whizz!
Thank you Fizz :D
Do you'll honour the referral for people who ordered the SIM before this? My dad ordered a SIM and putted my referal code on the system. He got the card wednesday. He's going to sing in next days. I know it count on the activation and not the order, but as we ordered right before this outage, seems unfair. I understand it will not apply with new ones...
Sorry but they do not want referral, but they want activation.
On the cat they told me, in this particular case (as SIM is already ordered), to activate first and check with them afterwards. I feel like it's a bit like being caught in a bear trap and crying afterwards.
@Sebastien: They always said that was not possible :D but now that the referral is suspended is possible to add the referral after.
They also said that they do not want the referral because the system can become unstable. But they will accept new subscriptions. :)
Sorry but I cannot see the logic, in the way that is explained
Please bring back referral program; I still have people to refer to Fizz!
@redhead : yes obviously
I hope the referrals in pending (for those who don't leaved) and the unlocked ones will be honored...
means that I need to activate my sim card today? But I just ordered one
I am sorry for you. But yes you need to activate today!
Hello @All
The referral program will be restored after the end of the stabilization period! :D
Please be patient!
Have a great day!

Hi,
If I correctly understand the post of the Fizz Team, the price I got when I subscribed end of February shall remain the same as long as I don't change anything to the plan.
Sorry, but I just received an email explaining the price will be change starting next period of billing (April 24 in my case) and giving the new price including the temporary 10% rebate due to the issue a few days ago. My partners got a similar email, and she subscribed at the same time.
That means, despite the commitments made at that time (there are hard copies available on the forum) and your explanation above, the prices are changed. With the way the new price is indicated in the email is also not very clear : the future "normal price" and what it includes is not stated.
After being charged for international INCOMING call - fortunately in the option, it seems Fizz has a lot of trouble with the terms of its contracts.
Please explain and, if the emails are an error, I suggest you send a correction quickly.
Regards
JF
@Jean-Francois:
It is my understanding that you and you partner will get 10% rebate for next 3 months. Then, since you have had your Fizz plan since February, you will go back to introductory pricing as long as you do not change your plan:
For members who subscribed BEFORE April 12, 2019:
Once the stabilization period is over, the introductory prices will be applied to the mobile plan you'll have at that time. Please note, however, that if you change your plan after the stabilization period, regular prices will apply.
