Can I choose my own 514 number?

My friend wants to join Fizz and is wondering if it is possible to choose his own # with the area code as 514. He wants a 514 area code and lives in Montreal. So basically is it possible to choose your own number with the 514 when activating the sim card?

    There is no 514 area code available with Fizz at the moment. You'll have 438 which is also a Montreal area code.

    No you cannot choose your own custom number...unless you have one to port in.
