I can not transfer my phone number from Fizz to Fido, What should I do?

I transferred from Fizz to Fido this morning, but the phone number transfer was rejected. Fido customer service told me because the phone number is not in service. But I am sure the phone number is activated and in service. What should I do?

You may not be able to switch until you get the service back from Fizz as Fido wouldn't be able to validate your phone.
