Just joined and activated my SIM (and account), using an iPhone 6.
I'm connected to Fizz network and can place and receive calls. However the internet/data is not working, and i'm supposed to be on the 12GB plan.
I've rebooted a few times.
Is this normal at first?
Have you followed instructions to set up the Fizz apn? It can take time for the account to be fully active, but the apn needs to be configured for it to work even when the account is fully active.

Sometime it could take a couple of hours for all services to be active, so you need to wait.

I followed the steps but I don't see a pop-up to update the carrier settings (as per the iPhone instructions of the FAQ).
Go to settings-general-about then find Fizz version should be 35.0 if is not You must update You phone.
If your iOS software is not up to date, simply update your carrier settings.
To complement Zef's answer, it will be under "Carrier" where you should see "Fizz 35.0".
