The easiest way to get the chat up is to pretend to cancel your line. Click on "unsubscribe" from the "manage" menu, and don't go to the next step after that. If their chat centre is open, a chat box will appear with the message "Leaving so soon?". They are regular customer service agents, so they'll be able to help you.
