Removing voice mail from my plan ?

I read on a post that there was a problem/bug when you try to change your plan and remove your voice mail.

I just wonder if this problem is already solved?

Does anybody did try to remove the voice mail option on their plan recently?

If you still have problems
I will suggest to contact the support, here we are normal user that can talk about our experience.
You can pick one of these methods:

  • Facebook (interactive with a delay)
  • The chat https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us (interactive)
  • My Profile -> Contact forms (Passive, Send a request wait for the feedback)

It should be pretty simple to remove voicemail by modifying your plan, if that does not work contact support.

I added voicemail as an upgrade but I was still charged 1$ for the voicemail. Feeling too lenient to contact Fizz about this I switched the voicemail upgrade with a data upgrade. All the sudden I lost my voicemail feature and then I had to reach Fizz anyway. :-)
Probably this is the bug you where talking about.

Note that you should do this quickly because beta prices will end very shortly in April. When it does, you will not be able to switch plans so freely without paying a premium.

I removed my voice mail option without problem.

@JoGF, AFAIK, this voicemail bug is very YMMV, so you might as well try removing it. and in case your voicemail gets bugged, contact support for them to solve it.
I suggest you do it soon before the end of beta prices in April.

Any changes to plan must be done 48 hours prior to end of billing cycle. And not sure if removing voicemail counts as plan change and then full prices applying instead of launch price (some time in April).
