Roaming drained battery ?

Hi,
Just got back from Toronto for a few days and I noticed that my battery drained faster ?
Is this normal?
My iPhone indicated ‘fizz ext ‘ .... my roaming was turned off in settings ... do I need to change another setting ?

In roaming, to set the preferred network type 3G instead of 4G will help the phone to avoid to search for a 4G antenna where it's not available (ex.: on the road between Toronto and Montreal). This will fix a part of the battery draining issue. You can put it back to default settings when omce you're home.

When is drawing probably is switching between multiple point obliging the phone to register over and over

It happen to me if I had signal issue with multiple points the phone is disconnect and reconnect using more battery

Videotron towers are available only in Quebec and Greater Ottawa area.

If you are traveling outside of these areas, your data roaming setting should be turned ON.
