Unanswered question

Nothing special for my after-beta plan, just introductory price plan. How about other beta testers?

All good things will come to an end. My beta plan will end after 31 days. Here is email I received. My sms+text plan is just regular introductory plan. How about your guys?

Hi Anne-Hélène ,

This is the last month of your beta period. When your next payment cycle begins on April 14, 2019, you’ll migrate to the introductory prices currently offered. Great news, these prices are actually better than those initially communicated to you when you activated your Fizz account, as well as the most competitive on the market.

The new price of your plan

You don’t have to do anything. The price of your plan for the number 343XXXXXXX, currently at the price of $2.25, will change automatically. Starting on April 13, 2019, you will pay $18.00 per month.

Thank you for being among the first ones to try out Fizz. Your comments and contribution helped us a great deal, and we are delighted to have been able to count on dedicated members such as you.

Keep sharing your comments and ideas on our Community Hub. It’s always a great pleasure to hear from you.

Agreed. I am saving 14$ / month compared to Rogers, even with 30% corporate discount.

This is expected and should have happened last year in December.

I didn't had the beta prices, but I'm saving 30$ each moth with introductory prices compare with Fido for the same plan. Still extremely competitive.

Introductory prices are pretty good.I'll stay with Fizz as long as they stay good. Can't wait to see how good is the internet as well and if the rumours about IPTV are a truth.

Even at the intro prices, there is no where else that I know of that offers as much as Fizz for the same price. I can't find any provider to give me canada wide calls, text, and some data for $25/month, and that's without considering the benefits of rollover data, bonuses, and referral credits.

To answer your question, there are no other special pricing options. As per the email you quoted...
"you’ll migrate to the introductory prices currently offered". Granted they are not nearly as good as the beta pricing we got, but they are still decent prices. Enjoy.

Here is a cut and paste from the original invitation to Beta internet plan. It clearly says, will keep the price at the original offer price even after beta is over.

We are beginning our Home Internet beta and are looking for testers.
Since you were among the first ones to embark on the Fizz adventure, you have been selected to participate*.

You’ll get to enjoy incredible prices, between $25 and $45 per month, for unlimited use and a download speed between 15 and 120 Mbps with a high-performance Internet connection.

Whatever plan you choose, know that the preferential price you see will be yours for as long as you keep your plan as is, and this, even once the beta period comes to an end.

Unbelievable, right?

I should be keeping that beta price.

I am about to switch from beta to regular pricing (no other options seem to be available for me) and my bill will go from $7 to $37 without any option to change... Although, I love the service and the idea, Fizz, you can do better than hiking up the price without any option to chose a better price point for me.
