Answered question
So when I am using my mobile data (lte) I am able to send whatsapp messages and browse the web and social media. However if I try to log into the bmo app i get a network error message. I immediately go on wifi and i’m able to log in. Same thing happens with other apps.
So far can’t login with lte (fine with wifi):
BMO app
Dazn sports app
LTE works fine for me.
I'm wondering if your issue is linked to the 2-factor authentication

You should check you phone settings. Sometimes you can chose to disable mobile data for come apps. If you use an iphone this setting is in the mobile data settings. Your BMO and Dazn sports app are probably just disabled
Hi Renaud, i checked that out and in the settings and it was on. I use the BMO and Dazn quite regularly on lte and it was fine until recently.
I aksed another friend who has Fizz to log in to dazn using lte and he couldn’t.
My fido friends can log into bmo app on lte.
Hi Ed. Well one of the apps doesn’t have two factor auth so maybe that’s not it. I feel somehow the network connection to these two are being blocked. Wonder if some security setting from their servers that aren’t cooperating with fizz’s network.
Shahab, if you have a vpn (virtual private network) you could try to run it and you would see if the apps are blocked by their servers
LTE works well. But note that if you are talking on the phone at the same time, it will switch to 3G since VOLTE is not supported.
yes features appear to be on their plans
dazn app also not working here as well as their main website. Fizz network is either routing traffic on different nodes and they cross to somewhere outside of Canada (scary to think and assume not likely!) or other networks are picking up the pool of addresses used by Fizz and for their network and not recognizing the geography has changed and is actually in Canada.
I actually provided my IP yesterday afternoon and some other details to dazn via their live-chat and if I hear anything back, I will post back in this thread.
as soon as back on wifi, no issues whatsoever.
