Some texts are not coming through

For some reason, since I switched to Fizz, some service text messages fail to come through. This is usually for the actuallt critical authentication texts, for example, wnen I need to log into my bank account and they insist on sending my an extra verification code via SMS. The phone is configured properly (I checked), freshly restarted etc. Also verified by easily receiving a text from another phone and from an SMS gateway via email. This used to work without a glitch when I was with koodo...

As others have mentioned, it's a bug with 2fa codes, for the time being I'd recommend contacting your bank to see if they can change your 2fa phone number to another one that you have access to (if you don't, use an app like TextNow). I'd expect most bugs to be fixed within the coming weeks as Fizz will be doing the Official Launch in April.

Yup. It's a known glitch that some 2FA texts will not come through. Hopefully it will get resolved at some point. Fizz knows about it. Sorry.

They have to deal with all providers (banks, online services). You still can report missing ones you noticed by chat, but they are aware the issue and working on it. One month ago, even Google wasn't working.
