I tried to unsubscribe from one of the number on my account but then received an email saying that this was goodbye and that my account would be closed at the end of the payment period.
I still have another phone number and home internet that I would love to keep.
My question is, will only the phone number I unsubscribe be close of the whole account? If it's the later, how can I prevent this.

In theory, it should only be phone not the account!
Better be safe and contact fizz for an official answer... given with all the nightmares of some users around the fundamental service like billing and accounting tied to their account , i wouldnt be surprised this sort of thing happens...
The <Unsubscribe> is under a specific plan (or phone). So if you click on <Unsubscribe> it will only end that plan.

You need to click on <Manage> button that corresponds to the plan you want to end and then click on <Unsubscribe>
