I noticed that if I don't chose any data, talk and text there is a $5/month fee. The question is that if I change my plan to this when I am not in Canada, then change back to whatever I have before, does this mean that my account will be active? It's like a temporary suspension. Can I do that?

There is a 8$ for Quebec coverage with no feature ( I'm not sure where did you get the 5$ ).

You can keep your account active with Quebec Coverage with no feature for 8$(current price) as long as you want.

Don’t forget that if you change your plan and the beta ends before you change it back you’ll have to pay the normal price
